Interschool Compuskill Championship
Acharya Shree Vijay Vallabh School conducting Compuskill Championship based on computer skills. Our students actively participated in the competition.
Every year the team of 8-10 students not only participate in this competition but also win the awards under the able guidance of the teachers.
This competition will give the students an opportunity to share, interact, develop team spirit, evaluate themselves & explore their hidden talents.
This initiative is a small attempt to strengthen the future techies with ideas & provide them with a platform that will motivate them to contribute constructively towards the vibrant India.
Elementary & Intermediate
The aim of art is not to represent the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance.
To increase the interest in art, every year Elementary & Intermediate art exams are conducted in the school. This year also the students have got fabulous achievement in these exams.
Drawing isn’t an artistic process; Drawing is a thinking process.
Many students appear for these exams and pass with flying colours.
Dr. Homi Bhabha
Dr. Homi Bhabha Balvaidnyanik Competition is conducted by Greater Bombay Science Teachers Association since 1981. This unique competition aims at arousing curiosity problem solving attitude along with development of precision in observational & motor skills in young scientists. Homi Bhabha exams is an excellent way to clear the science concepts & make a strong foundation for students. Dr. Homi Bhabha exam for Std 6th & 9th also helps in preparation for I I T & NEET entrance exam. This competition is based on scientific knowledge acquired by the students.
Olympiad
Olympiad exams encourage students to compete with other students on a similar educational level.
Such exams promote the learning skills in subjects like Mathematics, Science, Computer technology and English language among students.
In our school ,students appear for the Olympiad exam & score well. This exam helps the students to understand concepts and their applications.
NTSE
NTSE or National Talent Search Examination conducted by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). It is a national level exam, conducted only for 10th standard students . The objective of the exam is to provide scholarships to the exemplary students studying in class 10th.
NTSE exam is the National level scholarship program by Govt. of India and most venerated exam of India. It is not only about scholarship but a matter of great pride and honour for every student to be recognised as the nation’s talent. The NTSE (National Talent Search Examination) examination is conducted every year at two levels – Stage I (State level) and Stage II (National Level). NTSE Stage I is conducted by States and NTSE Stage II is conducted by NCERT.
Our students enthusiastically appear for this exam and secure excellent ranks.
Pre Upper Primary & Pre Secondary Scholarship Exam
Scholarship exam is one of the important exams conducted by the government of Maharashtra.
This exam helps the students to recognize their potential and build their confidence .
In our school students of Std 5th & 8th appear for this exam every year & score well.
Teachers encourage the students to appear for the Scholarship exams and also guide them accordingly .
Mathlete -> Maths Exam ,
Many students have phobia for Maths subject due to many reasons. To remove their fear for Maths and to make learning Maths and easy and playful ,our school started conducting Mathlete exam and for Std 1st to 5th every year.
English Marathon Exam- > English exam
From the last 10 years the students are appearing for English Marathon Exam. .Good response is given by the students . The exam is arranged in two levels.First school level exam & second state level exam .Cash prize is given to the rank holders.Till now Pranali Bhondave the student of our school has got the 1st rank at the state level.
Rashtrabhasha Exam
To create interest and to spread the awareness about Hindi in students. Rashtrabhasha exam is conducted in the school. The students from 5th to 10th participate in the exam.
This exam is conducted in 5 levels. Till now various students of our school have got success in this exam in special grade. The students have got guidance of all Hindi teachers for this exam.
R S P
We have included Road Safety Patrol ( R S P ) as a graded subject in our syllabus. The students of Std 8th, 9th & 10th are participating in the project. There are two platoons – one of 40 girls & another of 40 boys i.e. total 80 students participate.
In this project, Marching and Signal P. T. are taught to the students. The aim behind this is to bring awareness among the students about traffic sense and signal rules.
On 26th January every year, the students perform marching and signal P. T. In the same way, during road safety week the students are given the training of how to control the traffic.
Maharashtra Police, Pune Branch organize ‘Road Safety Week’ in which various schools of Pune city participate. Our school also participates in this activity. In this programme, the platoons of every school perform marching & ranking is given accordingly as well as the commander is selected. On the last day of the week, the selected commander is honoured to have a round in a rally along with the Police Commissioner. Students enthusiastically participate in this activity.
